DescriptionM. R. Boulton wishes Mr. and Mrs. Acton to state what compensation they desire for the damaged blankets. Cheshire thanks them for the aid and attention he received at their house. Sends regards to Mrs. Acton, Mr. Fraser, Mr. Ellison, and Mr. Henshaw.

Soho, near Birmingham, November 15th, 1810.
Dear Sir,
I have stated to Mr. Boulton the circumstance of your damaged blankets and, it being his wish to do what is perfectly right, he desires me to say that he considers you and Mrs. Acton are best able to determine what compensation will be satisfactory; for which reason, and to relieve him from considerable embarrassment, Mr. Boulton begs you will have the goodness to transmit your charge.
I feel so sensibly the obliging assistance and attentions with which I was favored at your house, that I cannot but reproach myself for not having seized an earlier opportunity of thanking you for them, and of assuring you that I shall embrace with pleasure any opportunity which may occur of returning you my services.
Be pleased to present my respectful compliments to Mrs. Acton, Mr. Fraser, Mr. Ellison, and Mr. Henshaw, and believe me, dear sir, your obliged and obedient humble servant,
Wm. Cheshire
Mr. Philip Acton.
