| Description | M. R. Boulton returned from London yesterday and wishes to see him at Soho. Reasons for the delay in replying to Miss Gulston’s note. (Directed to Burwood Park, near Esher.) Soho, near Birmingham, July 4th, 1810. Sir, I am desired by Mr. Boulton to inform you that he returned from town yesterday evening, and will be glad to see you here, according to the arrangement made for that purpose, as soon as your convenience will admit of it. You will please to present Mr. Boulton’s compliments to Miss Gulston and inform her that his absence from home has rendered an earlier reply to her note of the 24th instant impracticable, Miss Gulston’s note, after some detention here, having been transmitted to Mr. Boulton’s address in town, and did not arrive here till after his departure for Soho. I am, sir, your most obedient servant, Wm. Cheshire Miss Gulston, Burwood Park, Esher, Surrey. For Mr. Alexander Stephenson. |
