Dear Sir,
You will think me uncommonly stupid, but I do not recollect what conversation passed between me and Mr. Boulton respecting Winters’s barn. I very well recollect some conversation I had with him respecting Pratt’s barn, but nothing of Winter’s. Do be so good as refresh my memory in a post or two. Dear sir, yours very truly,
