Dear Sir,
Some time since, I sent you a case containing the portrait of your late father and the model you sent me, accompanied by a letter; but not hearing from you, and being anxious for the safety of them, I wrote about a fortnight after, requesting to know if they had arrived. Still having no answer from you on the subject, I must now entreat you to favour me with a line, and you will much oblige, dear sir, your humble servant,
