As Mr. Whitehouse has not been in Town this day, the weather being so very wet he requested I would give you the particulars of poor Mr. Stephenson’s situation this night. His Doctors have this moment left him, they say he is as Ill as he possibly can be to be alive, and without a very sudden change takes place he cannot live 48 Hours—poor Man he is completely worn to a skleton, I am truly sorry for him, & do assure you he has had every attention possible paid to him both by his Doctors and every person about him—Mr. Whitehouse has never missed one day without calling to see him before to Day.
