Gentlemen, The annexed Copy of a Letter from Liverpool received this moment must plead my excuse for troubling you on the subject, & for requesting it as a signal favour that you would have the goodness to permit some confidential person from your House to call in Red X Street & see Mr: Stephenson, who is my Gardiner, & give directions for the best surgical attendance which is attainable to be procured for him, & that in all respects he is provided with every requisite comfort & assistance that can be useful.—Any expences which may be necessary on his account I shall repay with thanks for the obligation conferred, & shall also deem myself obliged by your transmitting a line stating how you have found the poor man, & what hopes may reasonably be entertained of a favourable issue in this unfortunate Case.—I have not yet thought proper to make his Wife acquainted with the accident, still hoping in a Post or two to hear that he is out of danger.—I am Gentlemen, respectfully Your very Obe Servant, for M R Boulton Z Walker Mess: Whitehouse & Galan Merchts: Liverpool
