- references for two members of staff leaving employment with the homes, Miss Warner, Girl's Home Sewing Helper, and Miss Holden, Matron
- a letter of resignation from Elizabeth Riley, Matron of the boy's home, 27 November 1927
- correspondence between Mrs. Cadbury and Frances Morgan and Miss Clay regarding provision of a girl's club with instruction in dancing on Wednesday evenings, 1928
- a typed report from R. Plenderleith [Secretary and Superintendent of the Middlemore Homes] on the Newcastle-upon-Tyne emigration scheme for boys
- a list of the number of children of each age present in the homes on 28.6.1928
- a handwritten report from the House Committee, May 1923
- a press cutting titled 'Canada's Future. Christianity or Bolshevism?', no date
