This file contains draft letters to those associated with the Middlemore Homes inviting them to contribute to an appeal towards a presentation and gift to mark his retirement, lists of former staff and others associated with the homes to whom the appeal should be directed and letters received by the Secretary of the Middlemore Homes Mr. Burch in response to the appeal. Also papers regarding the purchase of a footstool, clock and ashtray to be presented to John Cox.
