Kenrick Smith members of the Middlemore Homes committee concerning the establishment of a housing association to manage the property at 43-45 Lee Crescent. This property was used by the Middlemore Homes to house four families for periods of up to two years under guidance of resident social workers (family rehabilitation work). The housing association was established as a legal safeguard against the creation of protected tenancies in relation to the occupiers and during its existence did no business. The registration of the housing association was cancelled on 31 August 1965. The file contains a draft and a final copy of the rules of the association, annual copies of returns submitted to the Registrar of Friendly Societies and correspondence with the Registrar concerning the cancellation of the association's registration. |
