- with Andrew N. O'Kelly, Assistant Director of the Department of Immigration and Colonization, Canada (The Canadian Building, Trafalgar Square, London) regarding the grant of permission by the department for the Middlemore Homes to send a party of 25 children aged between 11 and 16 for placement in New Brunswick 20-22 March 1928
- with Mr. J. Bruce Walker, Director of the Department of Immigration and Colonization, Canada (The Canadian Building, Trafalgar Square, London)
- with the High Commissioner for Canada requesting an interview to discuss the work of the Middlemore Homes and the difficulties caused by the introduction of age restrictions on juvenile immigration into Canada, June 1926

The bundle also contains a typescript report of a juvenile immigration conference held at the Department of Immigration, Offices, Ottawa on 23 October 1928 and typescript comments in relation to the report from the view of the Middlemore Homes.
