Jack Piper was a member of Bearwood Men's Adult School and some of the material relates to this school. Arnold Hall was General Secretary of the National Adult School Organisation for the period 1943 - 1974.
-Resignation letter addressed to 'My dear Friends' from Alfred Southall (1838 - 1931), 26th January 1931, announcing that he was stepping down from the Presidency of Gooch Street Adult School. He was its President for 70 years. Robert Woodhead took over from him, and was President for 30 years.
