| Description | The artists' contracts are mainly in two sequences. Firstly, a printed Esher Standard Contract for Repertory, generally between Charles E Linney, manager, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the artist (1949 - 1950) and secondly, a smaller sequence of letter agreements, generally between John Henderson, manager, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the artist (1955 - 1956). There are also a few contracts not falling within these sequences. The contracts offer standard terms and are usually signed by the artist. |
