| Description | Due to low attendance at the Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire General Meeting, in 1973 it requested that the Monthly Meetings consider levels of satisfaction among Friends regarding the General Meeting. To this end, Warwickshire Monthly Meeting established a committee to ascertain the views of Warwickshire Friends at Preparative Meeting level, requesting that Friends made observations on the state of the General Meeting and provided suggestions as to the future of the General Meeting. This file contains:
- a copy of the letter sent out to Warwickshire Friends by the Monthly Meeting to ask for opinions
- responses from individual Friends across the area
- a draft report entitled 'Report of the Committee set up to enquire into Warwickshire Friends' views on the Future of G[eneral] M[eeting]'. |
