An [18]82 note inside this volume suggests there is no register of marriages existing for Birmingham Meeting between the years 1712 - 1776 and that entries which appear in the volume within those dates were compiled from loose copies of marriage certificates which had been later pasted into spare pages of later registers. An [18]99 note suggests that marriages in Dudley book 1184 were erroneously transcribed into the digested copy of registers for Worcestershire Quarterly Meeting so are omitted from this volume. |
