DescriptionIncludes lists of visitors, individuals and groups (primarily classes from the Priory Schools, with the occasional visits from other Early Morning Schools or groups like Birmingham Weaving School, Broad Street, with descriptions of activities (particularly walks in Sutton Park and visits to Barr Beacon), drawings and verses.

An entry from 17 June 1908 mentions 'Mrs Hayward who has spent a very happy ten days - her first real holiday in her life and she is 67'. The entry for 18-21 May includes an amusing description of one Jennie Gaunt's collision with a gorse bush while cycling. Visitors in October 1906 had to chase earwigs round the bedroom before they could get to sleep. The entry for 29 August 1906, gives a description of the house, gardens and activities.

The volume includes a letter from M. C. Albright in London celebrating the opening of the home and a telegraph from Dorothy Cadbury to Jessie Lloyd at Farm, Sparkbrook, with greetings for the new home.
