DescriptionArranged alphabetically by surname and indexed. This volume was compiled by William Adlington Cadbury (1867 - 1957) when he was unwell and unable to work at a table, with help from his wife Emmeline Cadbury (1883 - 1966). It is signed and dated by him in 1956 and was given to Bull Street Meeting in 1957. It consists of photographs of any Friends and their families who attended Bull Street Meeting at some point in their lives prior to 1900, together with biographical details of individual members, their role within the Religious Society of Friends as well as their business and philanthropic activities and the causes they supported and participated in. Friends lent him photographs which were copied and provided him with biographical information.
