| Description | The first minute book (UC 1/1/1/1) originally contained early resolutions passed by what was known as the General Assembly of Subscribers of the Old Meeting House. However, the minutes of the Trustees follow on directly from these so the volume has been listed with the other Trustees' minute volumes. The resolutions and minutes allude to general church business discussed at the meetings, including the appointment of the minister and other church officials; business relating to the Sunday Schools; information relating to the business of the Vestry Committee, the chapel wardens etc, with particular regard to the church building and its furnishings; information relating to church services; related financial information and correspondence touching on the business of the Trustees. |
