The deed was presented as evidence with regard to the case of the London and North Western Railway in the matter of the sale of the Old Meeting House comprised in a Declaration of Trust dated 2 August 1882 (see Administrative History in catalogue record UC 1), as well as the matter of the London and North Western Railway (Additional Powers) Act, 1881, and the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act, 1845. It was referred to again in the affidavit of Minnie Isabel Twist, sworn on 21 November 1956. |
