| Description | On 5 July 1836 it was considered expedient to place the Old Meeting House Sunday Schools upon an improved system of management separate from the government of the general society (see UC 1/11/2/2). It was resolved at a meeting of the Vestry Committee that a new sub-committee be appointed to superintend the general management of the schools in accordance with the proposals set down in a report submitted by members of the Sunday School Friendly Society. The minutes of this committee include similar but more detailed information relating to the management of the schools, as given in the Sunday School Friendly Society minutes above (see UC 1/11/2/2), as well as associated accounts, statements of income and expenditure and related correspondence and reports. |
