A note on the plan reads that the document comprises a correct copy of the original plans, which formed part of a contract between Sapcote and Sons, builders, Richard Peyton and the Reverend Charles Clarke of the Old Meeting House (made on 18 June 1883) for the building of the new church on Bristol Street.
