Bundle of untitled handwritten notes relating to the history of the New Meeting House and Church of the Messiah, Birmingham, including extracts from a 'Sketch History of the New Meeting', dated 10 December 1898 - 12 December 1898. 8. Sheet of undated handwritten notes concerning church officials of the Church of the Messiah, Birmingham, including details and chronology of Joseph Chamberlain's work at the church, Sunday School Committee and local government, and names of other prominent families such as the Martineaus, Kenricks, Rylands and other members of the Chamberlain family, with some notes about former members of the Sunday Schools on the back of the sheet. 9. Undated handwritten chronology detailing main events and administrative developments concerning the history of the New Meeting House and Church of the Messiah, Birmingham, from the building of the New Meeting House in 1730, ending at the year 1885. 10. Two sheets of undated handwritten notes entitled '"Sketch of the History of Presbyterian Nonconformity in Birmingham by the Rev. John Reynell Wreford, formerly one of the Pastors of the New Meeting House, Birmingham"', comprising extracts taken from pp. 13 - 17 of the same history. 11. Printed order of worship for Morning and Evening Services, Church of the Messiah, Birmingham, dated Sunday, 20 March 1904, containing undated pencil notes re church plate and other fabric, with further undated lists of documents, books and other material stored on shelves in the church building, possibly the Vestry Library. 12. Sheet of undated pencil notes entitled 'Birmingham Nov. 9', comprising an extract from 'Aris's Birmingham Gazette', 9 November 1789, re gift of Governors of the Free Grammar School of King Edward VI, Birmingham, to Mr Charles Norton of a large plot of ground behind Mr Ryland's house and gardens facing Summer Hill to build a 'handsome Stone Crescent'. 13. Undated handwritten list of minute books and manuscripts of the New Meeting House and Church of the Messiah, Birmingham, including the minute books of the Sunday School Committee and Teachers' Society, the Vestry Committee, General Meetings of the Congregation, as well as other material such as school registers and books of sacred music. The list includes items marked as missing, whilst not all the material located on the list may have survived prior to being deposited at Birmingham Archives and Heritage. 14.
