| Title | Letter from Mr Thomas Lee Junior to Mr Bell |
| Level | Item |
| Date | 08/11/1791 |
| Description | This letter includes confirmation of a letter retaining Mr Coke and a discussion of Dr Priestley's case. The freehold lease document for his house had been burnt in the fires started by rioters. The letter encloses an abstract of Dr Priestley's lease but this is not present. Mr Lee then comments on individual cases in order of general account of damage already sent. Two men, a builder and mason by trade, have been employed by Mr Lee to survey houses in Birmingham. Mr Lee has mixed opinions about their efficiency and status. |
