| Description | Caption: 'The rear of the new head office of Midland Employers' Mutual Assurance Limited at Edgbaston. To avoid damaging the roots of the old fruting mulberry tree, the buildings were erected three feet further west than originally planned. The panels between the vertical stone fins are in deep recessed blue glazed tiles which give a translucent effect. The building was officially opened yesterday'. Cutting from the Times 27 May 1960.
