1 - Letter to [J]. W. Wells from Philip Raoul Lempriére, re his relationship [or not] to Aaron Lempriére. Writes that the Lempriéres "first came over from Brittany to settle in Jersey in about the year 1360, & obtained by Royal Patent from the King of England the Lordship of Rosel, a property attached to that Lordship. The seal of this letter will indicate them". [Black seal still attached]. Handle with care. - 11 July 1833
