3 - Indenture of agreement between (i) Robert Hancock of Birmingham, and William and John [Gregory] Hancock, sons of the said Robert, and (ii) Thomas Asque of Birmingham, chain-filer; reciting two agreements of 24 Jun. 1763 whereby William Hancocks and John Hancocks were bound apprentices to Matthew Boulton and John Fothergill of Birmingham, toymakers, for seven years each. By the present indenture (ii) is entitled to receive the wages of William and John Hancocks, and in return covenants to provide them with food and lodging, and pay them three guineas each at the expiration of their indentures.
