| AdminHistory | Established in 1800, with foundations as far back as 1769 (see MS 1422/34/7/7/6), the original works were located in Adderley Street, Liverpool Street and Glover Street, Birmingham. The Kingston site was acquired in 1890 as demand for greater production made a larger premises necessary. In the same year the firm was incorporated as a Limited Liability Company. The company went into liquidation on 1st January 1943, and its assets were taken over by ICI Metals Ltd. |
