Applicant overview: This file contains a number of grants to a variety of Quaker organisations and individuals. Nature of support: In 1981 the Trust agreed to underwrite the cost of the London Yearly Meeting Children's Programme for a sum of up to £5,000. A small travel grant was approved for a Young Friends visit to France in 1982. That same year the Trust approved three annual grants of £5,000 per annum towards the Friends House Preparation and Placement for Service programme. In 1983 the Trust made a single grant of £1,000 plus underwriting of the same total to the Young Friends Central Committee. In 1983 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust made a single grant of £500 to the Leicester Quaker Housing Association. In 1984 the Trust agreed to a grant of £2,500 towards the World Gathering of Young Friends. In 1985 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust allocated £1,000 toward publication costs of a treatise on Quaker dress. A number of personal and Meeting grants are also included as well as a number of rejected applications.
