Applicant overview: Quaker Peace and Service (QPS, now Quaker Peace and Social Witness, QPSW) was formed by the union of the Friends Service Council and the Friends Peace Committee. QPS aims to serve as a hub for local and national Quaker action for peace and justice and is committed to non-violent social change. QPS work strives to reflect and express Quaker testimonies to peace and non-violence, simplicity, equality and community, and truth and integrity. QPS supports Quaker witness in local communities and represent Quakers at a national level to parliament, government and the general public.
