Applicant overview: In 1984 the KNC was established to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in Kingshurst and neighbourhood and in particular the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness, and to promote the same and bring together other organisations in common cause. Nature of support: In 1985 the Trust approved a grant of £8,000 towards a feasibility study involving the appointment of a field worker to develop employment opportunities.
