Applicant overview: The Coventry Trades Council UWP was established to develop work with unemployed women, with the long-term unemployed and campaigning work on unemployment. Work with women includes health issues, do-it-herself courses, photography courses and the subject of welfare rights. Nature of support: In 1985 the Trust made a single grant of £540 to support 'do-it-herself' courses conducted by the UWP.
