Funding source(s): Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust. Applicant overview: The DHNDA was established out of the Druids Heath Low Income Support Group (DHLISG). DHNDA became the new name of the DHLISG in 1989. The next year the Association became a limited company with the objects of improving the situation, by charitable means, of the residents of Druids Heath through education, the relief of poverty, sickness, old age, suffering and distress, need and hardship and, through the provision of leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare. To do so the company may acquire property, publish information and provide training. Nature of support: In 1988 the Trust approved three annual grants of up to £20,000 per annum to the DHLISG.
