Applicant overview: DHLISG was established with the aim of enhancing the quality of life and living standards of low income groups living on the Druids Heath Estate. DHLISG also works to reduce poverty on the Estate and to foster self-development. Nature of support: In 1986 the Fund approved three annual grants of £10,000 to appoint a part-time worker at DHLISG. In 1987 the Fund supplemented annual grants by £240 as an honorarium to assist the part-time worker in their duties.
