Applicant overview: The NGH was established to 1) promote the interests of homeworkers, 2) facilitate the provision of information to constituent members of the work and activities of other of its constituent members, 3) co-ordinate, promote and develop the work of its constituent members, 4) collect, edit, publish and disseminate information and assist others to do likewise, 5) organise, present and conduct teach-ins, lectures, meetings, debates, consultations, conferences, courses of instruction and exhibitions, 6) act as advisers to institutions, organisations, associations and individuals, 7) organise joint ventures and co-operate with other institutions, organisations and individuals, and 8) organise and conduct appeals for support. The constitution was adopted in 1984. Nature of support: In 1985 the Trust agreed to three to four annual grants of £10,000 to establish the NGH. Minutes: B&GSCT 6224.
