Their role is to ensure country-wide support for individual campaigns, facilitate information exchange on immigration and asylum matters, and advocate changes in policy and procedures based on individual and collective case experience. Nature of support: In 2002 the Fund approved a grant of £6,000 towards salary costs for 2002/2003 plus a single grant of £10,000 for that same year towards running costs. In 2005 the Fund approved a one-off grant of £16,500 for an officer and associated activities to support the development of the Barrow Cadbury asylum and immigration cluster.
