Applicant overview: The Circles Network was established in 1994 and aims to support people who are either experiencing social exclusion, or are at risk of being isolated through disability, disadvantage and long-term illness, to become and remain fully included in community life. PIP aims to bring together all the best and most effective ways of educating and empowering people who have disabilities and their families enabling them to achieve systemic change at the local and national levels. Nature of support: In 1997 the Trust approved a grant of £25,000 for 1997/1998 and £10,000 for 1998/1999. In 1999 the Trust approved two further grants of £25,000 on the recommendation of Disability Programme Relevant Trustees.
