Applicant overview: BTEG was established in 1996 and is the only black led agency providing a critical analysis of Government led training and employment creation programmes and their impact on disadvantaged communities. BTEG disseminates identified models and approaches of good practice to the black voluntary sector and policy makers. Nature of support: In 2002 the Trust approved a grant of £20,000 per annum for two years towards core funding. In 2005 the Trust made a further core funding grant of £77,273 paid over three years.
