DIMCSD has been active throughout the peace process and Sri Lanka, specifically in seeking negotiations between parties involved and solutions to the conflict. Nature of support: In 2000 the Trust approved three annual grants of £8,000 to the Dharmavedi Institute in Sri Lanka to help launch new premises and programmes. This grant was subsequently increased to £10,000 for the first year and reduced to £7,000 for the two subsequent years.
