Applicant overview: WMQPEP was established in 1982 as the Peace Education Project out of the Staffordshire and Warwickshire Monthly Meetings as a peace education and information liaison unit. The Project aims to develop peace education, provide information and liaise with the various groups in the area. It also provides information and advice on the principles of non-violence and the work of groups in this country and abroad. Nature of support: In 1984 the Trust approved three annual grants of £6,000 per annum towards the salary of a Peace Education Officer.
