Applicant overview: In 2006 the Fund came to an agreement with Susan Spencer, former Chief Executive at Birmingham Settlement, to undertake research to create a database of voluntary sector groups working in the Trust's key areas: youth, migration and asylum, race and poverty, gender and social capital and disability. Nature of support: In 2006 the Fund approved a grant of £15,000 to carry out the research work. This project was carried out in part by Susan Spencer and then completed by Chris Waddhams.
