Applicant overview: NEF is an independent think-tank aiming to create rigorous policy analysis combined with providing solutions on the ground - including the introduction of the 'Brixton pound'. NEF was established in 1986 by the leaders of The Other Economic Summit (TOES) which forced issues such as international debt onto the agenda of the G7 and G8 summits. Nature of support: In 2009 the Trust approved a grant of £31,906 to cover the costs of a literature review, data gathering and economic modelling.
