Nature of support: In 1980 the Trust made a grant of £4,000 to £5,000 per annum over up to five years to support the salary of an Ethnic Advisor. In 1981 £100 was allocated to Link House for recreational equipment. In 1983 the Trust agreed to support the salary of an Equal Opportunities Officer in the City of Birmingham Personnel Department for three years at £3,500 per annum. In 1985 the Trust made a single grant of £2,500 to BAAF. In 1985 the Southfield Trust recommended a grant of £1,000 per annum to Birmingham University for its MSc in Socio-Legal Studies.
