Applicant overview: Holyhead Community Play Group (HCPG) is a part of the Holyhead Community Association (HCA) and is situated in the Holyhead Community School/Community Centre complex. The play group caters for up to thirty pre-school children aged two and a half to five years in age and operates five mornings a week plus three afternoon mother and toddler sessions. The HCPG aims to counter a shortage of playgroup services in the Handsworth/Winson Green/Sandwell area. Nature of support: In 1986 the Trust made a single grant of £150 to HCPG.
