The MRC provides advice on nationality, immigration, passport problems, income tax, social security, housing, unemployment, translation and family life. Nature of support: In 1984 the Trust made a single grant of £1,500 towards administrative costs. In 1985 the Fund approved three annual grants of £10,000 to the MRC paid through the Birmingham Housing Department to free up additional funds. These were not forthcoming.
