Applicant overview: The aims of Saheli are, 1) to provide quality play provision to under-fives through the use of the playbus, 2) to provide the playbus to the most isolated families within the community, via a 'door step' provision, 3) to provide playtime/holiday activities for under-twelves with a wide array of play experiences, 4) prioritise support for families in need, and 5) meet the needs of all users through the Equal Opportunities Policy. Nature of support: In 1987 the Trust approved three annual grants of £5,000 to Saheli plus salary increments for a part-time worker.
