MRC aims to act as a forum for the expression of collective views and needs of refugees in the Midlands, press for co-ordination of existing services to refugees and to develop strategies and policies to ensure that the needs of refugees and promote and undertake research into the needs and experiences of refugees and to inform and educate statutory and voluntary organisations and the general public about these issues.
