Banner has pioneered the use of documentary techniques in music and theatre. A founding member was Charles Parker. Banner Theatre is a theatre of actuality and multi-media. It makes extensive use of sound and visual media. JAC is a cultural development team based in Sandwell, West Midlands. It was originally set up in 1974 and is now one of the longest established community arts projects in the country. Jubilee resources are used by youth groups, tenants organisations, black and Asian groups, community organisations and voluntary bodies, agencies involved with special needs groups or the elderly, independent arts groups, schools and other statutory agencies. JAC is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Nature of support: In 1994 the Trust approved a single grant of £10,000 to Banner Theatre and JAC's towards the development costs of a joint theatre project that aims to combat racism in Britain.
