Applicant overview: This file contains a variety of grant applications relating to civic grant giving in West Midlands. Applicants include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG), Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Birmingham Central Library, the Midlands Spastic Association and a number of personal grants. Nature of support: In 1985 the Trust made a grant of £1,000 to BMAG towards the purchase of the Francis Frith photograph collection. In 1986 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust made a single grant of £1,000 to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for refurbishments. In 1987 the Trust agreed to the provisional underwriting of up a £1,000 for the purchase of the Boulton and Watt Collection at Birmingham Central Library.
