Applicant overview: The FFF is administered by the After Care Division of the Home Office and provides small grants to for projects and individuals. For the year ending 1977 the FFF provided funds to help refurbish four social centres, and the purchase of instruments for a brass band at Hindley borstal. Twenty-two individual grants were made totalling £950, the preponderance of these funds going towards education support. Nature of support: The Trust provides an annual top of up to £1,200 for the FFF, provided in two instalments as needed. A number of separate grants from the Fund were also made to ex-offenders to support university costs.
