Nature of support: In order to support the Cropwood programme of fellowships, publications and conferences the Southfield Trust recommended to the Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust that an annual £4,000 grant be made from 1977 onwards, though this was increased to £5,000 per annum for the three year period from September 1980 and £6,000 from September 1983.
