Applicant overview: The Cropwood Programme of short term fellowships at the Cambridge Institute of Criminology was set up in 1968 as a means of enabling practitioners in the criminal justice field to make a contribution to knowledge in their area of interest by undertaking a small piece of research or intensive study of a particular topic. Nature of support: In 1993 the Trust a single grant to the Cropwood programme was approved at £8,600. That same year three further grants of £10,000 were approved. In 1994 the Trust agreed to a single grant of £6,200 to support the annual Cropwood conference. In 1996 three further grants of £10,000 were approved for Cropwood fellowships and conference costs.
